      Welcome Message

We invites participants all over the world to attend our conference on ‘Orthopedics and Rheumatology’ to be held in the month of July, 9-10, in Bangkok, Thailand which includes Oral talks, Poster Presentation and Exhibition.

      Sessions and Tracks

Session 1. Current research on Spinal Muscular Atrophy

Spinal Muscular Atrophy is a disease which affects the spinal cord and causes the degeneration of the motor nerve cells. Characteristics of Spinal Muscular Atrophy include fatigue and clumsiness. Adolescents are a transitional stage of physical and psychological development that generally occurs during the period from puberty to legal adulthood.Paraplegia is a medical condition involving impairment in motor or sensory function of the lower extremities, which is a classification of paralysis, the universal term to describe the loss of movement or sensation following damage to a nerve in the body.

Session 2. Instruments applied for Spinal Cord Injuries

This condition is caused by accidents that can lead to paralysis. Incomplete Spinal cord Injuries means with incomplete injuries, the cord is only partially severed, allowing the injured person to retain some function. In these cases, the degree of function depends on the extent of the injuries. And Complete Spinal Cord Injuries are by contrast, complete injuries occur when the spinal cord is fully severed, eliminating function. Though, with treatment and physical therapy, it may be possible to regain some function.

Session 3. Prevention of Rheumatoid Arthritis

This condition is characterized by fatigue and joint aches. The types are seropositive which means Rheumatoid arthritis patients who are classified as seropositive have the presence of anti- cyclic citrullinated peptides (anti-CCPs) in their blood test results. Seronegative still possible for patients to develop rheumatoid arthritis without the presence of antibodies in their blood.

Session 4. Diagnosis and treatment of Osteomyelitis

Osteomyelitis is a chronic disease that affects the bone and joints and is triggered by bacteria. Vertebral osteomyelitis is a rare bone infection concentrated in the spinal region. Cases of vertebral osteomyelitis are so rare that only 2-4% of all bone infections are attributed to the disease.Chronic osteomyelitis is a severe, persistent, and sometimes incapacitating infection of bone and bone marrowMandibular osteomycetes is a type Osteomycetes which occurs in jaw.

      ·         Medullary Lesion

      ·         Superficial Osteomyelitis limited to the surface

      ·         Localizes Cavity

      ·         Diffuse Osteomyelitis Lesion

Session  5. Causes of Spinal tuberculosis

Tuberculosis is a deadly infectious disease and when it happens in the spine, it will slowly destroy the backbone and nerves. Spinal tuberculosis can be easily recognised by the thickening of chest after experiencing a sharp bend at the Back bone region.

Session 6. Surgery for Angular bone deformity

Angularbone deformity is caused by a variation in the normal growth pattern. Angular deformity will cause knock knees or bow legs that will become worse as the child grows. Two types of deformity occurs, they are Knock kneed and Bow legs. "knock-knee" is a condition in which the knees angle in and touch each other when the legs are straightened. Bowlegs is a condition in which your legs appear bowed-out, meaning your knees stay wide  apart even when your ankles are together.

Session 7 . Cause, Prognosis and Treatment for Ankylosing Spondylitis

Ankylosing spondylitis, chronic or long lasting disease that primarily affects the spine and may lead to stiffness of the back. The joints and ligaments that normally permit the back to become inflamed.

Session 8. Risk Factor for Infectious Arthritis

Infectiousarthritis, this general term is used to classify forms of arthritis that develop as a result of an infection.Parvovirus arthritis and Lyme disease are examples of types of arthritis that occur as a result of either a bacterial or viral infection. Early detection is the key to minimizing potential joint damage.

Session 9. Causes, Diagnosis and Treatment for Osteoarthritis

Osteoarthritis is the most common type of arthritis that affects about 27 million adults in the United States alone. This chronic condition is characterized by the breakdown of the joint’s cartilage. Cartilage is the part of the joint that cushions the ends of the bones and allows easy movement of joints. The breakdown of cartilage causes the bones to rub against each other, causing stiffness, pain and loss of movement in the joint..

Session 10. Diagnosis and Treatment of Polymyalgia Rheumatic (PMR)

Polymyalgia Rheumatic (PMR) A condition that causes aching, severe muscle stiffness and pain in the tendons, muscles, ligaments and tissues around the joints in the shoulders, hips, neck and lower back. This can be the first indication of giant cell arteritis, which is a disease of the arteries.

Session 11. Types of Arthritis and Their Treatment

Arthritis  is a term often used to mean any disorder that affects joints. Symptoms generally include joint pain and stiffness .Other symptoms may include redness, warmth, swelling, and decreased range of motion of the affected joints. In some types other organs are also affected. Onset can be gradual or sudden. It includes Psoriatic arthritis , is a chronic disease characterized by inflammation of the skin (psoriasis) and joints (arthritis). And Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) is mainly characterized by inflammation of the lining, or synovia, of the joints. It can lead to long-term joint damage, resulting in chronic pain, loss of function and disability.

      Session 12. Spondylo Arthropathies

Spondylo arthropathies are a group of rheumatic disease that mainly affects the spine, but certain forms can also affect the hips, shoulders and knees.
